Overall I bought this tractor last year end of the season,it has only 11 hours of use ,it gave me nothing but problems.the belt cameout two times and messup the timing belt,veryhard ti align the timingbelt.Iam planning to sell this for half price

Weaknesses In 3 months, residental use it has already broken a belt and the PTO engagement cable. This should not happen.

Overall I have never written a review before. I am not that difficult to please. But a person should be able to get a couple months of work out of a lawn tractor without it breaking 2 times. The Belt I could maybe understand but the cable is simply poor design. I can't wait to see what else will break in the few months or maybe I will sell it in the spring and try something new. Also the parts are not inexpensive.

Strengths It is amazing to me that people have three year old LTX's, they have only been out since 09. Get with it guys. If you don't own one you will never know. Just go back to your beloved Scott's (aka John Deere) and get home depot to sell you something else that you don't know how to use!

Strengths strong strong heavy gage steel, solid, heavy duty front axle, run all day on a tank of gas, mowing 1 1/2 ac. cruise control is great..

Weaknesses could use a bigger seat, and on/off switch for lites..

Overall paid $200.00 FOR IT USED WITH ONLY 4.5 HOURS ON IT. THE OTHER REVIEWS DID NOT REALIZE YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH EVERY NUT AND BOLT AND BELT AND SET TO FACTORY SPECS.. DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT OR ANYONE ELSE THAT USES NONE FACTORY ASSEMBLE PERSONS,AS HOME DEPOT DOES.. NOTHING GETS CHECKED OUT JUST ASSEMBLED AND SELL.

Strengths NONE

Weaknesses This is the worst tractor I have ever owned. It is already sitting in a shed while I wait for parts and time to repair. In the mean time I have to rent replacement machines. This tractor has less than 12 hours on it. The blade hit a 4inch soft stump in my yard. rather than slip or stop like most mowers the cogged blade drive twisted the entire mower deck and snapped the spindle assembly. So rather than a blade sharpening or replacement I have over 400 worth of parts ordered for a tractor that has been used only three times. It wouldn't even start the other day to move it i the shed.

Weaknesses Very Poor Reliability

Overall Cub Cadet is the worst product I have ever purchased. My lawn tractor is only 3 yrs old and I am thinking about cutting my losses and just throwing it away. It is incredibly unreliable and must be carefully, professionally tuned at least twice a year or it won't run at all.
