Can't resist sharing this just received from my sister in CA: The photo below captures a disturbing trend that is beginning to affect U.S. wildlife. Animals that were formerly self-sufficient are now showing signs of belonging to the Democratic Party... as they have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide
On Foot: We visited Nova Scotia several years ago. What a beautiful place. We visited Halifax, then traveled north to see the tidal surges at Fundy Bay and then on to Truro. The Novia Scotia people were very nice also. Keifer, a RTV wannabe
The Canadian Atlantic provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland
You hear that ONFOOT....Us Canucks complainin' 'bout the cold when those poor folk down in Louisana and Mississippi are shiverin' to the bone. Gonna start up a collection to send some 'mukluks' and hockey tuques to keep 'em warm.
Who's complaining? I love the cold! :-) It's
man das some cold stuff. and what was the reason for you to live way out in the middle of knowwhere? did you growup there or did you get tired of the grid life and wanted freedom?
It does get cold, but the beauty and lifestyle more than makes up for needing to wear a few extra layers of clothing and burn

60F is cold??? lol! Sorry... but 60F is when we start stripping for suntans! But to answer your question... I have not had any problems with fuel gauge sticking, running my '08 RTV900 in temps just short of -40F. Curious situation to my mind. Look forward to hearing what our mechanical geniuses on the forum have to suggest!
iwould think that if the motor was well maintained that you could easily get 30k hours out of it. do you have a flowing creek or river around you? if so you could get 2 or 3 high output alternators and make a few paddlewheels then run them to your battery bank.we did this on a shrimping barge and it worked pretty

I have a Kubota 900 series engine providing power for our property (two houses) when the solar and/or wind are not sufficient to keep the battery bank charged. I have over 5000 hours on it and it looks and runs like new. I have heard of folks getting 30,000 hours(!) on the engine before needing to overhaul. I change the oil and filter in my genset every

Welcome to the forum, tony3542. (Curious about the number...) You'll find it is a fantastic source of information, advice, tips, and occasional (well actually lots) of weird humour... Regarding the fan cycling time, it only very rarely gets to 70F up our way, so really have no idea. But I suspect that it will be far more useful to get the new temperature

We have had snow on a couple of occasions so far here in Whitehorse. As I write this, there is about half an inch of snow on the ground, though it is getting up to 37-38F today. It was down to 8F the other evening. We don't generally get the snow dumps around here. 2-3 inches would be considered a major snowfall. It just gets and tends to stay cold

For what it's worth, my own experience (about 70 hours, now) has been along the lines that Muleman described. It is fussy to shift in and out of gears sometimes, as well as between 2wd and 4wd. But it has never been more than a minor annoyance and comparable to my experience shifting my Arctic Cat Prowler (which was belt driven) and shifting gears
