Welcome to the forum and congrats on about to be a RTV owner. I can directly answer your questions as I only have a 900. A couple questions/thoughts if I may. Can you give us an idea of where you live? Region or state? I ask because your usage sounds a lot like mine (short trips where you're frequently in-and-out). I live a bit north of Pittsburgh
Cut, strip, solder, heat shrink.....
If you use the blue connector shown in the link of my last post, you don't have to do any of that. The clip slides on your one wire and no cutting is required (this is your existing wire to the light). Next to that groove is another slot for your new wire (the one

OK, I see this as being a very simple fix. As I recall, back-up alarms have a single wire (hot) and uses chassis ground. Using a blue self-stripping wire splice (like what's in the link below), you just connect it to whatever wire goes hot to illuminate the dash light (just connect it a few inches from the dash light and mount the alarm under the

I do 95% of mine at Lowe's. 5% at home depot just because they had a couple things that Lowes didn't stock. Well, Lowes now stocks them so HD is just about out of the equation. I now only do HD when I purchase gift cards for the store. See, my grocery store gives you 10-20 cents off per gallon for every $50 of stuff you buy in their store. Well
and then tried to re-engage it, and I could not.....!!
Welcome back Glenn Can you elaborate on the aforementioned quote? When you say you tried to re-engage it, are you saying that the mechanical lever that takes it from a lock position to free-wheel (and back) wouldn't go back to the lock position?
I like your mounting system, looks good. I can't find the hood rack you have, I have looking for one since I bought the 500, but no luck. Can you give me the link? I am on the greene mountain site, searched for hood rack, but don't see it. You have a nice set up. Do you have a stereo in there someplace? That

Just to throw it out, I found a nice clamping system for windshields or anything else you would mount to the ROPS. Look for 1 1/2" O-clamps for DJ lighting. They work very nicely for mounting to the rops. That's how I mounted my windshield. Here's where I get them. The picture is fuzzy but if you do a search for O-clamp on their site (or
